Forteco® Horti Nutrients Ca(NO3)2(HNCN)
The innovative and circular calcium nitrate fertiliser (or organic calcium nitrate fertiliser in the USA) developed by Van der Knaap Group enables growers to cultivate crops. The fertiliser is produced in a bioreactor, in which bacteria convert organic nitrogen (N) into nitrate nitrogen (NO3-N). The result is a stable, liquid calcium nitrate solution that is compatible with all types of irrigation systems.
The circular calcium nitrate fertiliser provides equivalent production quantities compared to traditional growing methods. The product is OMRI Listed® and meets USDA National Organic Program (NOP) guidelines, making it suitable for certified organic farming in the United States.
The drip irrigation system allows precise nutrient delivery, ensuring that crops receive the optimal amount of nitrogen. This facilitates precision crop steering.
