Nederplant is exclusive distributor of Van der Knaap's products in Brazil. This allows them to offer local growers peat and coco based substrates and Obturo® plugs, which are suitable for crops such as phalaenopsis and the cultivation of coffee, citrus and vegetable plants and tropical potted plants. In addition, Nederplant takes care of logistics.
The Brazilian market is rapidly professionalising. The demand for high-quality propagation and growing media is increasing significantly. This cooperation combines the knowledge and experience and the availability of high-quality products of Van der Knaap with the local expertise and market position of Nederplant. Together, the companies focus on supporting growers in Brazil in achieving efficient and high-quality cultivation.
“With this partnership, we are taking an important step in our international growth strategy,” said Jelte Veenstra, CEO of Van der Knaap Group. “The Brazilian market offers a lot of potential and with Nederplant at our side, we can optimally serve our customers there with innovative and sustainable solutions.”
Jeffrey Meijler, partner at Nederplant, added: "We see in Van der Knaap a strong and reliable partner. Their high-quality products and focus on quality perfectly match the needs of Brazilian horticulture. Together we can really add value."
Both companies confidently look forward to a long-term and successful cooperation.
