Meet us at the Canadian Greenhouse Conference
On October 7 and October 8, international trade show Canadian Greenhouse Conference will take place at the Niagara Falls Convention Center in Niagara Falls (Ontario, Canada). During the show, we will showcase our high-quality Forteco® coco products and an extensive range of rooting products.
Van der Knaap and Premier Tech
Last year, Van der Knaap and Canadian company Premier Tech announced their strategic alliance. This year, we’re exhibiting together at a trade show for the first time. The Canadian Greenhouse Conference offers the opportunity to meet the teams from Van der Knaap and Premier Tech and learn more about how this collaboration can support growers.
From rooting to cultivation
Forteco® Propagation Cubes
The demand for organic growing media in vegetable cultivation is on the rise. In organic growing in Canada in particular, we are seeing very strong growth in demand for Forteco® propagation cubes. To meet this need, we offer Forteco® propagation cubes in our product line. These coco-based cubes are OMRI-certified and ideal for propagating vegetable plants. Propagation cubes are made from an airy coco substrate, which ensures good drainage. They promote healthy root development. Also, propagation cubes can be processed mechanically.
Forteco® Optimum for cucumbers
Optimum is a new type of coco coir. Through a new production process, developed by Van der Knaap, the entire husk of the coconut is optimally processed into coco material with unique properties. The specifications of Forteco® Optimum growbags make them highly suitable for growing cucumbers.
Plugs for rooting and propagating
Van der Knaap offers a complete range of growing media products for every stage of cultivation. For the rooting stage of perennial plants, for example, our product line includes Obturo® and Fibre-Neth® plugs. Our plugs promote rapid root development and uniform growth.
Why choose Van der Knaap
As one of the largest substrate suppliers in the Netherlands, Van der Knaap has been supporting growers of all kinds of crops for over forty years with its knowledge and experience in the field of rooting and growing media. As we have our own production facilities worldwide, we maintain full control over the quality of our (coco) products and the reliability of our supply. Furthermore, this enables us to develop products specifically tailored to various crops and applications.
