On Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 November, the expoSE trade fair will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany. Van der Knaap Group will be participating for the first time this year to inform growers about our solutions in the field of rooting media and substrates for soft fruit cultivation.
Rooting media and substrates
Van der Knaap Group supplies a total package of substrate products for every phase of cultivation. For the rooting phase of soft fruit, our range includes specially developed tray substrate and paperpots, Obturo® and Fibre-Neth® plugs. These ensure good root development and homogeneous growth. Our products are tailor-made to the customer's requirements.
For the cultivation of soft fruit, including raspberries and strawberries, we also offer an extensive range of coco products in addition to our standard products. Coco has good cultivation properties that ensure optimal growth. It has a high air content and absorbs water easily. Moreover, coco substrate is easy to control.

Van der Knaap has been processing coco material in rooting media and substrates for many years. Because we have our own production facilities worldwide, we can control the quality of our coco products and guarantee delivery. This also enables us to develop products specifically for various crops and applications.
Production location Limburg (NL)
At our site in Grubbenvorst (Limburg, NL), we produce high-quality substrates consisting of carefully selected raw materials. Thanks to our stocks and a local team, we are able to deliver quickly and efficiently. Having multiple locations means that our travel time is very limited.
